Livingstone Assembly Community

We are a multigenerational family with something for souls of all ages, offering teachings and classes no matter the age or level of spiritual maturity. We don’t view our kids as a burden, nor the youth as a distraction; rather, we know that God has brought us all together as we need each other. Just as much as kids need spiritual grandparents, our elders need life from the youth groupers. We are blessed to have amazing teachers and leaders to guide you no matter where you find yourself on that spectrum; and just as all of humanity has a God-shaped hole in them that only Christ can fill, chances are we have a place for you to fit in right here.

God has established a vision and oversight of our Pillars of faith. These are the men and women who have carried the torch, fought the fight, and still hold strong. We honor these Pillars with the respect and reverence they deserve, and praise be to Jesus, just because they’ve known Jesus longer than some of us have been alive, they still are willing to learn, grow, and trust Jesus in the hardest of times. As much as we need them; they’d be the first to admit that they need us.

Do they drive us absolutely bonkers at times? Are they louder than necessary? Do they run everywhere they go and say words that make absolutely no sense? If something gets broken are they the first to blame?! Although these questions are all answered with an ephaptic, “YES” they also bring life, joy, and excitement. A community without youth is one filled with sorrow. Our youth are a gift from Jesus and one we are excited to have.

Just like our Youth Groupers, we need our kids. It has been said that kids and youth are the future of the church; and though there is truth in that, it is shortsighted. We need our kids today. Their faith, their laughter, their pure and gentle hearts. As we have a responsibility to lead them, we also have an example of how to trust. Our pillars need the life of the younger generation, and our kids need the wisdom of those who’ve seen some things. Praise Jesus, that although we have classes to reach and teach each soul no matter their age or maturity level, we also have time together to experience the life and joy of the community of Jesus.
